James Keenan – JMS Yacht Management & Crew Services

We are pleased to introduce you to James Keenan,the newest member of our team. James is based in our Brighton office within the yacht accounting department.

James was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and raised in the south of France, close to Nice. James moved there at the age of 4 to a small town called Vence, around 30 minutes outside of Nice. At the age of 11, the family moved to another village familiar to JMS called Valbonne to be closer to his school.

James is a huge OGC NICE fan and played football for OGC NICE from the age of 12. aAt the age of 14 he was playing at a regional level, but unfortunately a knee injury forced (very) early retirement.

Outside of work James now enjoys the countryside and any outdoor activities such as camping, skiing and cliff jumping. James is lucky enough to have traveled extensively, his favourite destination is Nassau, the Bahamas. The weather and the clear blue water and relaxed pace of live are top of the list.

James graduated from the International School of Valbonne (CIV) with an International BAC which guided him towards a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton.

Working with JMS is James’ first job,and he’s already enjoying the lively culture and is learning everyday from his experienced colleagues.

James enjoys learning languages and is fluent in English and French with a good working level in Italian.
